Turkey arrests two more in connection with Bursa terror attack

The number of people detained in connection with Wednesday's explosion in Bursa, northwestern Turkey, has risen to 17.

According to security sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, the arrest is part of a nationwide police operation in Bursa, Mardin, Şanlıurfa, Izmir, Istanbul and Afyonkarahisar provinces.

The Bursa suicide blast injured 20 people near the historic Ulu (Grand) Mosque in Turkey's fourth-largest city.

Bursa Governor's Office said on Wednesday that a female suicide bomber was involved in the attack.
