Parked van flies onto car in southern Turkey highway


The footage of a bizarre accident surfaced over the weekend, in which a light commercial van parked without its handbrake on fell from a 50-meter-high cliff onto a car cruising on a highway in southern Turkey.

The incident took place in Belen district of southern Hatay province on Jan. 18 and captured by a nearby city surveillance (MOBESE) camera.

The van glided from the cliff and hit the car after bouncing from the road.

Onlookers rushed to the area to find the injured in the accident.

The driver of the car was wounded in the incident.
