A social responsibility project will enable children from Turkey and various parts of the world, who until now have never seen the sea, to experience sailing on the Marmara Sea for April 23, Turkey's "National Sovereignty and Children's Day."

The jetty of Kalamış Marina, located on the Asian shore of Istanbul, will be turned into a festival arena for Turkey's "Children's Day" on April 23, a national holiday.

Children coming from various places in Turkey such as Mardin, Hakkari, Diyarbakır and Bitlis, as well as from abroad, will receive sailing instructions and coding lessons by Bahçeşehir Colleges. During the three-day long festival, children will also be given opportunities for sightseeing in Istanbul and cultural education. The little guests will be accompanied by university students.

Additionally, everyone interested will be able to set off to the sea with training vessels starting from Kalamış Marina. In parallel to the rich festival program for children, the third leg of the Bahçeşehir University Spring Trophy's sailing competitions will be held in Istanbul.
