Drunk Russian man traveling to Turkey’s Antalya restrained mid-flight by fellow passengers


A Russian man, who was allegedly drunk, was tied up using seatbelts by fellow passengers mid-flight because of his rambunctious behavior.

The man was traveling on a Red Wing airlines flight from Moscow to Turkey's tourism capital Antalya with his wife and two children. The unruly passenger, who was leaving Russia for the first time in his life, was reportedly afraid of flying and reportedly drank to excess in an attempt to overcome his fears.

Videos from the plane show the man's face and clothes covered in blood as he loudly swears and hits the seat in front of him. Fellow passengers attempted to calm the man down for about an hour after flight attendants failed to deal with the rowdy traveler.
