Istanbul police found jaw parts and teeth belonging to a dinosaur fossil dated to five or seven million years ago, in a raid against smugglers yesterday.

Authorities said one person was detained in the raid at a housing complex in the city's Avcılar district and they also discovered an oyster fossil, along with Roman coins and other artifacts from ancient eras of Turkey.
