Courtesy of the Turkish Presidency, ashura, a traditional dessert made to celebrate the religious holiday Ashura, was served to the public in 13 cities yesterday.

Bearing the presidential emblem and made using a recipe by the presidential chefs, the dessert was served outside mosques and in squares by chefs and senior staff of the presidency.
