Türkiye has secured the extradition of 76 wanted individuals from seven countries, including 29 people wanted internationally under red notices and 47 wanted at the national level, the Interior Ministry said Wednesday.

According to a statement posted on the ministry’s social media account, 61 of the individuals were extradited from Georgia, while four each were returned from Greece and Germany.

Two individuals were extradited from France and two from the U.S., while the remaining suspects were returned from the U.K., Serbia and Azerbaijan.

The ministry said the individuals had been tracked by the General Directorate of Security’s Interpol-Europol Department, along with the Organized Crime, Intelligence, Narcotics Crime, Cybercrime, Public Order and Counterterrorism departments.

The operations were conducted in cooperation with law enforcement agencies in the countries where the wanted individuals were located, the ministry said.

"No criminal will be able to flee abroad and disappear,” the statement said, adding that authorities would continue efforts to close escape routes and bring individuals wanted under red notices or at the national level back to Türkiye.
