Four PYD/YPG suspects detained attempting to cross into Turkey from Syria

Security forces on Thursday arrested four foreign suspects who are allegedly members of the Democratic Union Party's (PYD) People Protection Units (YPG) militia while attempting to cross into Turkey from Syria.

The suspects, two women and two men, were arrested in southeastern Kilis province during a security patrol along the border as part of efforts to hinder illegal border crossings.

After the initial investigations at the Çerçili Border Military Post, the suspects were identified as YPG members.

Photos of the imprisoned PKK terror organization leader Abdullah Öcalan were reportedly found on the suspects' cellphones.
