PKK terrorist attacks kill 5 soldiers in Turkey's southeast


A bomb exploded by PKK terrorist group killed four security forces on Friday in Turkey's southeastern Savur district of Mardin province.Four soldiers were killed and two others were wounded after a handmade bomb implanted on the roadside was detonated by militants as an armored military vehicle was passing by.

A wide range investigation has been launched in the area to arrest the terrorists.Meanwhile, a police officer was martyred during an ongoing counter-terrorism operation in the southeast Şırnak province.

Six security guards were also injured in the attack in the province's İsmetpaşa district, the sources added.

Since the PKK-listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU-resumed its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state last July, more than 350 security force members have been martyred and thousands of PKK terrorists killed.
