Democracy rallies to continue in eastern provinces with MHP, CHP in attendance

Following the failed July 15 coup attempt, the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) is getting ready to hold more rallies like the one in Yenikapı, Istanbul, in early September in the eastern and southeastern provinces of Diyarbakır, Van and Mardin. The chairmen of the Republican People's Party (CHP) and National Development Party (MHP) will also be invited to the rallies.

The AK Party will carry the spirit of the last Sunday's Democracy and Martyrs Rally in Yenikapı to strengthen ties with citizens living in the southeast by delivering a message of support and solidarity.

In addition, a series of welfare activities will be carried out as part of the rallies. The AK Party Central Executive Committee has decided to maintain the Bridge of Heart Project during Qurban Bayram in September. The project that supplies aid to families, young people and children who are victims of terrorism was carried out in Ramadan for the first time.

AK Party Deputy Chairman Mehmet Müezzinoğlu started working on the plans for the rallies. According to Müezzinoğlu's plan, there will be rallies in 12 main cities in the region. A group of artists, athletes and opinion leaders will also be joining and the aid and organization of the projects will be explained. The group of celebrities will be supplying aid to citizens in person, delivering meat to families in need and giving children pocket money to cover their education expenses.
