Turkey shells 21 terrorist targets in Syria's Jarablus

Turkey's armed forces have shelled 21 terrorist targets in Jarablus, northern Syria as part of Operation Euphrates Shield, military sources said on Tuesday.

Since Monday 4.30 p.m. local time [1330GMT] Turkish artillery shelled 21 terrorist positions in and around Jarablus, using Fırtına howitzers, military sources said.The sources added that coalition forces also destroyed two Daesh targets near Syria's Jarablus on Monday night.

They highlighted that the Turkish Armed Forces are paying utmost attention and taking all precautions to ensure civilians living in the region are not affected during the anti-terror operations.

Operation Euphrates Shield, which was launched on Wednesday, is aimed at improving security, supporting coalition forces and eliminating the terror threat along Turkey's border through Free Syrian Army fighters backed by Turkish armor, artillery and jets.
