14 PKK terrorists killed in eastern Turkey

The Turkish military announced on Tuesday that 14 PKK terrorists have been killed in ongoing operations in the eastern provinces of Tunceli, Şırnak and Diyarbakır.

The statement reported that security forces clashed with PKK terrorists on Monday in the Hozat district of Tunceli. Three terrorists have been caught dead along with one AK-47 and one HK-33 assault rifle, one Dragunov sniper rifle and one pistol.

The announcement also noted that two terrorists had been killed in an aerial attack in Şırnak, which also destroyed their shelter; whilst five other terrorists have been killed in a drone strike, and three terrorists in clashes against ground troops.

Security forces killed a terrorist in the Silvan district of Diyarbakır province, reported the statement.

Under the scope of the Martyred Gendarmerie Specialized Sergeant Lokman Darğın operation, commando troops discovered six armed positions and 23 shelters with lots of ammunition in the Kiğı district of the eastern Bingöl province.
