365 Daesh terrorists arrested in Turkey last month

Turkey's Interior Ministry has announced that 365 suspected Daesh terrorists were arrested last month.

While the arrests took place in 12 provinces across the country, including Ankara and Istanbul, 131 of 365 suspects are being held in custody to face trial, according to the ministry's statement.

In recent years, Turkey has suffered from numerous attacks by Daesh, including the Ankara train station bombing in October 2015, which was the deadliest attack in Turkey and claimed more than 100 lives.

Turkey launched Operation Euphrates Shield to drive Daesh from its Syrian border by supporting the Free Syrian Army (FSA) rebels.
