2 Turkish soldiers killed, 4 injured in anti-terror operations against PKK in Şırnak


Two Turkish soldiers were killed and four others were injured on Friday during anti-terror operations against PKK terrorists in southeastern Şırnak province.

The four wounded soldiers were brought to Siirt State Hospital for medical treatment after they were injured during an operation at the Gabar mountain.The operation to capture the traitors is still underway, a security source said.

The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and EU -- resumed its armed campaign in July 2015 and since then has been responsible for the deaths of around 1,100 security personnel and civilians, including women and children.
