A school linked to the Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ) in Denmark was shut down after declaring bankruptcy, citing an insufficient number of students, in the fourth case of bankruptcy-related FETÖ school closings since 2016.

According to a Berlingske daily news report published on Friday, a Danish national daily newspaper based in Copenhagen, a FETÖ-linked school Österbro Privatskole in Copenhagen, closed down since it could not handle the economic difficulties resulted from the lack of students.

The school had 97 students despite having at least 130 students in the beginning of the year, causing economic distress for the school.

According to the Berlingske daily, Österbro Privatskole is the fourth FETÖ-linked private school in Denmark to have closed within the last year.

Following the July 15 coup attempt, since Turkish families started to take their children out of the schools which have lost one out of every five students.

Turkey has asked countries to close FETÖ-linked schools, colleges and businesses following the attempted coup that left 250 people dead. The group, led by U.S.-based Fetullah Gülen, has a large network of overseas educational and commercial interests.
