Three female PKK terrorists, who were brought into the conflict zones in Syria after being deceived, surrendered to Turkish security forces on Thursday.

H.M. (21), M.Y. (22) and T.B. (23) have been united with their families following their surrender in Kilis, a city in eastern Turkey.

Making confessions after their surrender, the terrorist girls stated that they regretted joining the terrorist organization, while adding that they suffered from "immoralities." They said that they did not have any voice during their time with the PKK and that they were ultimately used and deceived.

Furthermore, the terrorists revealed that American, English and Canadian soldiers were among the ranks of the terrorist organization. They also said that the American, Canadian and English soldiers were also aiding the PKK with arms and doctors, while also providing information via their drones. After being brought to the terrorist camps in Syria, the girls stated that they received one-month political and military training. They said that they were brainwashed and forced to adopt religions like Zoroastrianism and Yazidi.

The girls further expressed that they got in fights in Syria and northern Iraq and they were wounded multiple times. They explained that leaving was not as easy as simply leaving the terrorist organization. The girls said that although they tried to escape several times, each time they were caught and imprisoned. Finally escaping from Damascus to Aleppo and from there going to al-Bab, the girls surrendered to the Turkish forces. "With the help of Turkey, thank God I escaped from the terror and reached my family," one of the girls said.

The PKK, listed as a terrorist organization by the U.S. and EU, resumed its nearly 40-year armed campaign against the Turkish state in July 2015. In Syria, the group goes by the name the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and its armed wing the People's Protection Units (YPG).
