Reporters Without Borders: Israel is targeting journalists

Reporters Without Borders announced on Wednesday that the Israeli military is intentionally targeting photojournalists covering the Palestinian protests of the occupied West Bank.

Reporters Without Borders condemned the violence exerted by Israeli forces on Palestinian, Israeli and other photojournalists that are covering protests against Israel in the West Bank. In a statement, the press freedom organization emphasized that Israel continues to occupy Palestinian land and stated that they deplore the total impunity of the Israeli soldiers responsible for committing violence on photojournalists in the area.

TWO JOURNALISTS WOUNDED
According to the Reporters Without Borders organization, two Palestinian journalists were wounded in a protest staged in the village of Nabi Saleh near the West Bank's Ramallah when Israeli forces used rubber bullets and tear gas grenades. The organization included testimonies by witnesses who stated that soldiers intentionally targeted journalists at the protest. The Israeli army has rejected the Reporters Without Borders allegations.
