Father avenges son killed by ISIS in suicidal attack


An Iraqi father has launched a suicidal attack, which killed seven militants, in revenge for his son who was executed by the self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) last month. Tikrit, a city in Iraq, located 140 km northwest of Baghdad on the Tigris River, has been under siege by ISIS for months. In January, ISIS executed eight Iraqi citizens in the middle of a street by shooting them. ISIS posted photos from a video of the execution of Ahmed Basil Ramadan and seven others. Entitled 'the Day of Judgement', the photos from the video show eight Iraqi men dressed in orange jumpsuits. The terrorist group accused the eight victims of infiltrating the organization and spying on behalf of the Iraqi government.Among the eight victims was Basil Ramadan's 18-year-old son Ahmed Basil.The father of the victim could not accept the murder of his son, and launched a suicidal attack against an ISIS checkpoint in Tikrit with a Kalashnikov, managing to kill seven militants before dying.
