Magnitude 5.6 earthquake hits SW Pakistan

An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 shook southwestern Pakistan on Sunday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.

The quake struck at a depth of 30 kilometers (18.6 miles), EMSC said.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter of the earthquake was Pasni in Balochistan province.
