Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has condemned Israeli violence, displacement, settlement expansion in occupied West Bank as "bulldozing path to peace," raising "specter of ethnic cleansing."

Guterres, in his opening speech at the U.N. General Assembly, also called on world leaders Tuesday to use the high-level week to pursue de-escalation and dialogue across Middle East.
