US to remove war-battered Syria from 'terrorist sponsor' list

U.S. President Trump announced Wednesday that Washington will remove war-battered Syria from its "terrorist sponsor" list.

His comments came in a joint press meeting alongside Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara

He also hailed the new Damascus administration's effort in making the country stable.
