The Türkiye Cinema Festival will bring moviegoers together across the country on Sept. 26-27, with tickets for all films priced at TL 90 in approximately 1,500 theaters across 75 provinces.

Organized for the second time with the support of the Culture and Tourism Ministry’s General Directorate of Cinema, the festival aims to strengthen cinema culture and support movie theaters across Türkiye.

Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced the festival’s return in a social media post, saying, "We will once again feel the unifying power of cinema across all four corners of Türkiye.”

The festival, organized by the Cinema Hall Investors Association (SİSAY) with GNÇ as its main sponsor, will feature 17 local and international films over the two-day event.

"Last year, the festival, held for the first time, brought more than 780,000 viewers together around the big screen,” Ersoy said. "This year, we will hold it on Sept. 26-27 in 75 provinces and approximately 1,500 theaters, bringing 17 local and international films to audiences.”

Tickets will be available for TL 90 for all films during the festival, with sales beginning Sept. 21.

"I invite all our citizens, especially our young people and families, to fill our movie theaters, share the excitement of watching films together and take part in this celebration of culture,” Ersoy said.

Supporting movie theaters

The festival aims to highlight cinema as a cultural and artistic experience enjoyed on the big screen and collectively with other viewers, while also contributing to the sustainability of movie theaters.

It is also intended to make cinema more accessible to moviegoers of all ages through affordable ticket prices.

The first Türkiye Cinema Festival, held on Sept. 27-28, 2025, drew more than 780,000 viewers to movie theaters.

This year’s festival will expand its reach with a broader program featuring films from different genres, including family movies, animations, adventure productions and major box-office titles.

The lineup includes "Avengers: Endgame,” "Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” "The Odyssey,” and "Toy Story 5.”
