President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan strongly criticized Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza, as he said Tel Aviv's use of hunger as a weapon proves it has no regard for humanity, amid global outrage over the dire situation in the blockaded Palestinian enclave.

Speaking at a joint news conference with his Kazakh Counterpart, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Erdoğan said Israel’s use of hunger as a weapon against Palestinians is the clearest indication that they have no share in humanity.”

Noting that Palestinian people are being killed by hunger and thirst before the eyes of the world, the president said images coming from Gaza are "far worse, far more brutal, and far more inhumane than those from Nazi camps."

"The terrorist state of Israel has been brutally massacring the Palestinian people for 22 months. It is committing genocide against our brothers and sisters in Gaza, whom it has confined to 360 square kilometers,” he added.

Highlighting the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza, President Erdoğan said, "Innocent children are dying either from hunger or from bullets fired by Israeli occupation forces.”

Erdoğan also said it is essential for all countries, especially Muslim nations, to raise their voices against Israel's barbarities in Gaza and that Israel would ultimately be held to account for its crimes.

Palestinian death toll in Israel's 21-month genocidal war on Gaza crossed the grim milestone of 60,000, with women and children making up around half the dead.

Israel's offensive has destroyed vast areas of Gaza, displaced around 90% of the population and caused a catastrophic humanitarian crisis, with experts warning of famine.
