The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has set the dates for the 2026 Turkish Süper Kupa, with Galatasaray, Konyaspor, Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe set to compete in the final edition of the tournament's four-team format.
The semifinals will be played Jan. 4 and 5, 2027, with the final scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 9, the federation said following its executive board meeting Sept. 24.
The semifinal matchups have already been determined under the competition regulations. Süper Lig champion Galatasaray will face Turkish Cup runner-up Konyaspor, while Turkish Cup champion Trabzonspor will meet Süper Lig runner-up Fenerbahçe.
The two semifinal winners will meet in the final three days later for the Süper Kupa title.
Which semifinal will be played on Jan. 4 and which will take place on Jan. 5 will be determined by a draw involving the four participating clubs. The venues for the semifinals and final will be announced at a later date.
Galatasaray enter the competition as champions of the 2025-26 Trendyol Süper Lig Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Season. The Istanbul club claimed its 26th league title and fourth consecutive championship under coach Okan Buruk.
Konyaspor secured its place as Turkish Cup runner-up after reaching the final against Trabzonspor.
Trabzonspor won the 2025-26 Ziraat Türkiye Kupası, beating Konyaspor 2-1 in the final in Antalya on May 22. Paul Onuachu scored both goals for the Black Sea club as Trabzonspor captured its 10th Turkish Cup.
Fenerbahçe qualified after finishing second in the league.
The 2026 Süper Kupa will be the second and final edition played under the expanded four-team format. The competition was changed from a single-match showdown between the league and Turkish Cup winners to a four-team knockout tournament beginning with the 2025 edition, which was played in January 2026.
Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Trabzonspor and Samsunspor contested the inaugural four-team tournament. Fenerbahçe won the trophy after beating Galatasaray 2-0 in the final at Istanbul's Atatürk Olympic Stadium.
The format is set to change after the 2026 edition, bringing an end to the brief four-team era of the Süper Kupa.
