The normalization of Turkey-EU relations became perspicuous in the wake of EU Council President Charles Michel and EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s recent visit to the capital Ankara.

Following their meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan which lasted almost three hours, the EU officials made statements to dissipate the recent negative atmosphere.
