Turkish authorities invited Israeli Charge d'affaires Amira Oron to the Justice and Development (AK) Party's 9th traditional iftar dinner for foreign ambassadors.
The invitation to the dinner which will be hosted by Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım in Ankara on Monday is signaling a thaw in relations between the two countries, following a reconciliation agreement late Sunday.
Amira Oron was reported to have replied in the affirmative.
Turkey downgraded diplomatic relations and dismissed Israel's ambassador in 2011, a year after Israeli commandos stormed the Mavi Marmara, killing nine Turkish citizens and one American.
Afterward, Israel came to be represented by Turkey by a Charge d'affaires.
