Four Americans of Turkish origin were reported missing in California, Santa Clarita wilderness on Friday where they went for hunting and cannot be reached for over 48 hours.
American police and search and rescue teams are said to be working to locate four experienced hunters, Barış Kavukçu, Berkay Sürmeli, İsa Emre Elvermez and İlkay Zaman. However, girlfriend of one of the missing hunters claimed that the search crews stopped looking for them due to high cost of the extensive searching.
Search crews said they haven't found any clues that would lead them to the hunters yet.
Association of Turkish Americans of Southern California also made a plea for information to help find the lost hunters.
