Timurtaş Onan’s latest documentary film Kramp premieres this Thursday, April 7th at Baraka Bar in Istanbul.
The documentary, which portrays the legendary Turkish rock group Kramp, tracking them from the band's formation by three friends in Bakırköy in 1984, to their peak of success in the 90's and all the way into present time… all the while, sharing the band's personal and painful experiences.
The documentary details their albums, music and life style, shedding light on the rock culture prevalent in the 90's. The documentary also contains interviews with Nuri Kurtcebe (caricaturist), Güven Erkin Erkal (program producer), Abdülkadir Elçioğlu (caricaturist), Özer Sarısakal (Guitarist), Erdinç Ünlü (Former Kramp Vocalist), Ahmet Karaferya (Former Kramp Vocalist), Murat Başer (Music Composer), Suat Bilgi (Çalıntı Magazine).
During the remainder of the evening Timurtaş Onan will be playing rock and blues songs from the 70's to the 90'sin a DJ performance.
