Renown Turkish cartoonist Bedri Koraman dies at 87

Renown Turkish cartoonist Bedri Koraman died on Saturday at the age of 87 at his home in in Turkey's southwestern province of Muğla.

Koraman had been receiving treatment in a hospital in Bodrum district of Muğla due to the brain damage after he fell and hit his head on the floor on May 13.

Born in 1928, Bedri Koraman had been working as a cartoonist since 1947 and was especially known for his cartoons published on Sundays in Turkish Milliyet daily newspaper.
