Children will focus on the concept of color, including their warmth, violence, harmony and impact on objects, in this workshop. They will blend and discover colors, as well as interpret the mystery among different shades of the same color. In this program, aiming to develop sensitivity for the diversity and quality of color, children will recognize a color as a unique component and create compositions on surfaces. Talking Dyes

Children are going to discover artwork in the collection exhibition called "Past and Future" located on the second floor of Istanbul Modern accompanied by the artist. Children create drawings based on shadows of each other or different objects in the beginning of the program. They will learn about different methods of creating patterns by conveying projections to surfaces via any kind of material (pencil, tape, string and more). The program will focus on the discovery of many factors ranging from drawings to their character and quality. This workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 28 and Aug. 11.
