The Katip Çelebi branch of the bookstore in Eminönü is celebrating its second anniversary and operates as the sixth branch of Istanbul Kitapçısı. Thanks to its location and the content, the Katip Çelebi branch of Istanbul Kitapçısı has become a favorite destination of international tourists. The bookstore is especially beloved by European tourists with its Istanbul-specific publications and also attracts tourists from the Middle East with its souvenir brand, Hediyem Istanbul. Middle Eastern tourists particularly like Istanbul-themed t-shirts and merchandise featuring the Ottoman seal. Both domestic and international tourists who visit the bookstore on the historical Eminönü Pier also enjoy views of the Bosporus and the Galata Tower as well as being in Istanbul while taking a sip of coffee.
Istanbul Kitapçısı continues to open new branches in Beyoğlu Tünel, Süleymaniye, Kadıköy Pier, Taksim Metro Station, Esenler and Mall of Istanbul. It is also announced that we will see branches of Istanbul Kitapçısı on Beşiktaş and Üsküdar piers very soon.
