The Ankara-based think tank Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA) is set to organize a panel at its Istanbul office on Saturday regarding Turkey's technology policies.
The panel will aim to evaluate and analyze how developing countries like Turkey can continue their economic growth while avoiding the middle income trap.
The panel will discuss Turkey's developmental state's policies and the impacts of creating alternative technology transfer policies on Turkey's national technology under the guidance of two reports, entitled 'Turkey's technology transfer policies' and "A key for a new economy: AR&GE and innovative financing', published by Murad Tiryakioğlu and Nurullah Gür.
Turkish Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Fikri Işık will be joining the panel.
