The financial closing agreement for the Adana integrated health campus was signed with a ceremony attended by Health Minister Mehmet Müezzinoğlu yeterday. Amounting to a 542 million euro investment, the high-tech hospital in the southeastern city of Adana demonstrates its strong support for the government's plan to significantly expand quality hospital facilities across the country under the public-private partnership (PPP) model. The Adana hospital campus will be designed, built, equipped and managed by a private developer, ADN PPP Health Investment, set up by a consortium of Turkish and international firms. These include one of Turkey's largest construction and infrastructure companies, Rönesans Holding, and a global infrastructure firm, Meridiam Infrastructure, investing through a private equity fund in which nine banks are shareholders. The project includes three different hospitals with 1,550 beds. The installment payment plan will run for 18 years.
