The Association of Advertisers has announced the total advertisement investments in 2014, which is based on data acquired from media agencies that are members of the association. According to the investments report, which is reported to be TL 5.938 million ($2.28 million) in total, the sector has grown 4.31 percent compared to the previous year. It was reported that television commercials received 51.4 percent of the investments and continue to claim the top of the list. Investments in television advertisements were followed by digital mediums with 19.91 percent, printed media with 18.74 percent, open-air advertisements with 6.5 percent, radio with 2.3 percent and cinema with 1 percent. It was also reported that the biggest growth occurred in digital investments competing with the printed media.
