Japanese food giant Ajinomoto, a partner of the Turkish flavoring and vinegar firm Kemal Kükrer, is planning to turn Turkey into a center for dressings. Kemal Kükrer General Manager Sabri Gülel noted that Turkey's bond to traditional flavors and production models impressed the Japanese, and after a 15-month negotiation process, the two companies became partners in 2013. "Ajinomoto is considering turning Turkey into a center for the Middle East and Africa given the 600 million population around Turkey," added Gülel.
