Innovation Week in Adana to revive exports

The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) is set to hold its fourth "Turkey Innovation Week" in Adana from Nov. 5 to Nov. 6 with the objective of bringing together innovative exports and popularize innovation culture. The event will be organized with contributions from the Economy Ministry and TİM and will be jointly hosted by the Adana Chamber of Commerce and Mediterranean Exporter Associations. The heads of TİM, the Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TÜSİAD) and the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD) will come together for the first time during the event where world-renowned speakers will deliver speeches on innovation. The CEOs of the world's leading companies and innovation groups will be offered various conferences, panels and workshops. The event will be held under the strategic partnership of Arçelik, Turkish Airlines, Turkcell and Finland and with the support of the Adana Metropolitan Municipality, the Adana Chamber of Industry, the Çukurova Development Agency and TEMSA.

Various panels, conferences and career events will be delivered under the topics of "Business World and Innovation," "Innovation and Technology in Industry," "Turkish Business World," "Extraordinary Women," "Smart Cities of Future," "Digital World," "Creativity and Innovation," "Design and Architecture," "Entrepreneurship," "Innovation in Nongovernmental Organizations," "Citrus and Innovation" and "Cooperation between Universities and Industry."

TİM President Mehmet Büyükekşi said the assembly aims to bring up innovations and inventions during the innovation week and strives to foster an innovative culture. Underlining that value-added exports are possible with innovation, research and development (R&D), design and brand, Büyükekşi invited all innovation enthusiasts to the event, which will bring together industrialists, entrepreneurs, students and academics.
