Qatar Airways is offering sky-high transfer fees to attract Turkish Airlines (THY) pilots.

As a result of the Qatari airline company's efforts to fill its rising pilot vacancies, many THY pilots have transferred to the company, according to Habertürk daily.

Qatar Airways offers a salary of TL 40,000 ($12,406) to THY co-pilots, who previously received TL 16,000, and TL 53,000 to chief pilots, who received TL 25,000.
