Jennifer Lawrence the highest-paid actress in the world

Jennifer Lawrence tops the world's highest-paid actress of 2015, according to the annual survey by Forbes.
The "Hunger Games" star raked in $52 million in 2015 while she came in second on the list with $34 million, behind only Sandra Bullock last year.
Avengers star Scarlett Johansson ranked second in this year's list, with earnings totaling $35.5 million, followed by Melissa McCarthy with $23 million.
The top 10 highest-paid actresses of the year, as revealed Thursday on "CBS This Morning" is:
1. Jennifer Lawrence: $52,000,000
2. Scarlett Johansson: $35,500,000
3. Melissa McCarthy: $23,000,000
4. Bingbing Fan: $21,000,000
5. Jennifer Aniston: $16,500,000
6. Julia Roberts: $16,000,000
7. Angelina Jolie: $15,000,000
8. Reese Witherspoon: $15,000,000
9. Anne Hathaway: $12,000,000
10. Kristen Stewart: $12,000,000
As to Forbes's highest paid actor of 2015, Robert Downey, Jr., earned $80 million last year. Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan, famous for his unique acrobatic fighting style, earned $80 million, followed by Vin Diesel, mostly known for his portrayal of Dominic Toretto in The Fast and the Furious film series, with $47 million.
The previously revealed list of the top 10 highest paid actors in 2015 is:
1. Robert Downey Jr.: $80 million
2. Jackie Chan: $50 million
3. Vin Diesel: $47 million
4. Bradley Cooper: $41.5 million
5. Adam Sandler: $41 million
6. Tom Cruise: $40 million
7. Amitabh Bachchan: $33.5 million
8. Salman Khan: $33.5 million
9. Akshay Kumar: $32.5 million
10. Mark Wahlberg: $32 million
More importantly, the top ten highest-paid actresses earned a total of $218 million in 2015, while the top ten highest-paid actors earned a total of $431 million.
