BLOOD FATHER

"Blood Father" starring Mel Gibson, Erin Moriarty, Diego Luna and William H. Macy, directed by Jean Francois Richet, will be greeted by cinema lovers this week. The director known for his 2005 film "Assault on Precinct 13" tells the story of an ex-conman who leads a lonely life in his caravan earning money from tattoos and tries to save a 17-year-old girl from the trouble she is in with a drug cartel.

THE LIGHT BETWEEN OCEANS

The director and scriptwriter of "Blue Valentine," Derek Cianfrance, is back with "The Light Between Oceans," starring Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander and Rachel Weisz. The romantic drama is about a married couple who is in charge of a lighthouse in Western Australia and decides to raise a baby they find in a shipwreck. The couple's little secret will be causing a lot of trouble for them in the coming days.

MASAL (FAIRYTALE)

"Masal" (Fairytale) starring famous actors including Gökhan Mumcu, Tolga Yüce and Bengi Öztürk, is about lives crossing through a will. The debut of Arin Arjen Öztürk starts with a letter that can be considered as a will written by Yeşim in Istanbul to her roommate, as she thinks she won't be able to survive the critical surgery she's about to have.

Five friends embark on a journey to carry out Yeşim's will in her letter. Along the way they encounter stories full of love and drama, and these stories combine with Yeşim's story.

Bala Atabek, Derya Şen, Hakan Eratik, Volkan Baş and Leyla Üner Ermaya star in "Tutmayın Beni" (Let Me Free), directed by Semra Dündar, the director of "Vay Başıma Gelenler" (What happened to me?).

The comedy is based on funny events that a young girl named Fikret, who works at a security guard at a shopping mall, encounters.

Directed by Özgür Bakar and staring Ufuk Şen, Süleyman Kabaali, Bengi İdil Uras and Duygu Paracıkoğlu, "Korku Komedi: Bana Normal Aktiviteler" (Horror Comedy: Normal Activities For Me) revolves around a young girl who introduces herself as a director after she is fired from the film set she worked at as a costume designer to two friends. After she convinces them that there is good money in horror films; funny events unfold.
