The competition is open to all amateur and professional film makers and the applicants can submit more than one film. There are no restrictions about the genre of the films but they are expected to be about "old age" and give messages in accordance to the association's philosophy.
The competition is composed of two sections as short films and public service announcement and those who rank among the top three in both sections will be presented various awards. The deadline for the application to the competition is Oct. 21, 2016. Those who want to participate to the competition can fill the application form and competition conditions at www.yaslihaklaridernegi.org.
65+ Elderly Right Association advocates the fact that every individual has a right to grow old by having healthy and active life and continuing producing and learning. The association also argues that people should grow old without getting alone and poor and being exposed to discrimination and abuse. The aim of 65+ Elderly Right Association is to offer the elderly a life during which their medical assistance, social, psychological, economical and legal rights are met and their choices for life are respected.
