President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Masoud Barzani will visit Turkey over the weekend to discuss Mosul and Bashiqa, reports said on Tuesday.
According to reports, Barzani will meet with Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım and discuss ongoing issues.
Relations between Turkey and Iraq were strained due to the debate on the presence of Turkish security forces at the Bashiqa camp near Mosul last year, but relations got back on track after diplomatic dialogue and the visit of Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım to Baghdad and Irbil.
