Entering into new exporting agreements Turkey is benefitting from Russia's attempts to pick its economy up after the embargos imposed upon it by the U.S. and other Western powers. Turkey is now preparing to start exporting many products to Russia with milk being added to the list of saleable items. Russia banned all imports from countries that imposed economic sanctions on it. Because of this, milk and dairy products are not being purchased and an offer has been submitted to purchase these items from Turkey. Chairman of the Packaged Milk and Dairy Products Manufacturers Association Harun Çallı stated that exports might start on Oct. 15 and the manufacturers that have the potential to start exports went and investigated the market. "There are no more obstacles left. Both countries have no demands left from each other," said Çallı.
