The National Education Ministry provided funds of TL 532,832,625 to 166,563 students in the previous academic year as part of a project, running since 2014, that provides students the financial support they need to attend private schools.
In the past two years, the ministry has provided TL 1,162,295,586 in funding to 337,375 students.
The funds are awarded to students prior to the start of every academic year, as determined by the Economy Ministry and National Education Ministry.
Applications for next year's funding may be submitted to the private school where the student wants to enroll.
