Election board to provide instant poll results for parties

The Supreme Election Board (YSK) has prepared portals and an application to share results of the June 7 general elections with the political parties' candidates.The Portal of Political Parties was established in order to inform the headquarters of political parties of the ballot box results, according to the YSK. It will provide more secure, quick and recorded data of results as required by election law.

Test procedures for services with the parties are ongoing. The portals will share information about the list of the domestic and international electorate as well as the number of political parties and independent candidates.

Poll results will be announced on June 7 after 5:00 p.m. local time and sent to political party members participating in the general elections.

Voters will elect 550 members of Parliament from 20 political parties and will be the country's 25th general election.
