Russia foresees an investment of 7 billion euros for the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project.
According to the Russian Vedomosti newspaper, a total of about 7 billion euros is to be invested for the sea section of the Turkish Stream natural gas pipeline project set to be established between Russia and Turkey.
This sum also includes the amount spent on the South Stream pipeline project, which Russia later abandoned, Vedomosti reported on the basis of official documents.
In the Turkish Stream project, the capacity of each of the double lines to cross the Black Sea will be 15.75 billion cubic meters as previously planned.
Russia thinks that the first line will contribute about $750 million to the Russian treasury as revenue obtained from export taxes.
Russia's main natural gas exporter Gazprom has not yet talked to the Vedomosti newspaper regarding the issue.
