Nine schools were evacuated in northern German city of Braunschweig on Monday due to anonymous terror threats sent by e-mail.
The e-mails were sent to numerous schools overnight, Braunschweig police said.
Local Braunschweiger Zeitung newspaper reported that the school administrations cancelled classes Monday morning, while police units carried out inspections in related schools.
A police spokesperson speaking to the paper said that the time cited in threat for the attacks has passed without any incidents, with the exception of a suspicious bag found out to containa trumpet.
The content of the e-mail was not made public, and investigation into the incident continues.
