Tourists now have yet another reason to take a tour around the lively coastal town of Kusadası as the historical street of "Old Town Tanneries" will be hosting 18 prominent artists and sculptors every Thursday. Visitors have a chance to observe not only different painting techniques, but also enjoy creating new works of art. A historical journey will also be waiting for you at Didem Çapa's accessories exhibition "Osmanlı'da Günlük Yasam" (Daily Life in the Ottoman Empire). Alternatively, the Kara Tabak Museum will present how leather has evolved in the region since 1937 including how Naile Göçen transformed the historic tanneries of Kusadası into an art street that exhibits weekly and monthly events.
