The Elgiz Museum of Contemporary Art will introduce the works of Turkish sculptors born between 1952 and 1962 on Sept. 16. The exhibition "52-62" will mirror a specific period of Turkish contemporary sculpture art. Made of different materials, the works of sculptors including Ali Dirier, Ayla Aksungur, Ertug Atlı, Güler Güngör, Hayri Karay, Kemal Tufan, Mümtaz Demirkalp, Nilüfer Ergin, Nurettin Bektas, Önder Büyükerman, Selma Gürbüz, Server Demirtas, Ümit Öztürk and Yunus Tonkus will be on display. The exhibition will present different sections regarding the age and artistic background of the artists.

Visitors have the chance to examine the production process of the sculptors through specific works of art. The sculptures display different classic, figurative, kinetic and conceptual features. While some artists produced new works for the exhibition, others were taken from the artist's special collections. "52-62" will be open to visitors until Dec. 27.

When: From Sept. 16 to Dec. 27
Where: Elgiz Museum of Contemporary Art
