The Education, Culture and Research Foundation (EKAV) presents its first 2015 exhibition titled "Bir Şey Söyle" (Say Something) by Balkan Naci İslimyeli, a prominent name in contemporary art. Opened on Jan. 13, the exhibition features canvas, video, photography, costume, sculpture and text based on a common language. İslimyeli's latest work extends the scope of the pattern that he has been focusing on since the beginning of the 1990s. "This exhibition is a visual inquiry on the intermediary voices of talking, stop talking and being silenced," the artist says. İslimyeli will be giving two talks at the gallery about the pattern that he also used in previous exhibitions.
