Film screenings continue at Italian Culture Center

Within the scope of the program, legendary Italian director Nanni Loy's "Il Padre Di Famiglia" will be screened at Casa d'Italia Theater Hall. Young architects Marco and Paola meet in Rome after the war. In order to keep up with the urban norm, the two get married and have four children. Paola has to quit her job to take care of the children, while Marco tries to solve his family problems with another woman named Adriana. Although Marco is unable to realize it, Adriana tells him that he is madly in love with his wife. When Paolo is admitted to a mental institution because of a nervous breakdown, Marco, who is left with four children, realizes for the first time that Paola is an irreplaceable element of his life. The 1967 comedy film stars the unforgettable Italian actor Ugo Tognazzi as well as Nino Manfredi.
